Parenting is hard. Properly hard. It takes so much energy, patience and headspace, and even on the good days you can still end up wondering, Did I handle that well?

That is why we have created this special edition of Our Daily Bread: to encourage you as you care for the children in your life. God, your heavenly Father, is with you in every decision, every difficult moment, every worry and every ordinary day. His love, patience, wisdom and discipline show us what it means to guide children with grace and truth.

Our prayer is that these reflections will offer honest encouragement, practical wisdom and a reminder that you do not have to parent in your own strength. God is with you, one day at a time.
