He Hears Us: God's Faithfulness

Difficult seasons expose how much we rely on things remaining predictable. Plans alter, familiar structures disappear and the future becomes harder to read. Scripture repeatedly answers that instability by directing our attention to the character of God: the One who remains faithful when circumstances do not.

He Hears Us: God’s Faithfulness was originally shaped in the aftermath of the disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, reflecting on what it means to move forwards without forgetting how God has sustained us. The prayers address peace, joy, purpose, witness, faith, contentment, forgiveness and rejoicing, returning repeatedly to dependence upon God.

This resource includes:

• prayers for moving forwards and seeking God’s direction
• reflections on peace, joy and contentment
• prayers for greater faith, purpose and Christian witness
• help with forgiveness and thanksgiving
• Scripture and practical prompts for developing a deeper life of prayer

Use the prayers as they are, adapt their language to your own circumstances or let them give you a starting point when you know you need to speak to God but are unsure where to begin.
