He Hears Us: Prayers for the New Year

A new year can bring hope, but it can also feel unsettling. We do not know what the months ahead will hold, or what we may be asked to walk through.

As we step into the year ahead, Scripture reminds us that we do not go alone. The God who calms the waves, parts the waters and carries His people through the storm is with us still.

These reflections and prayers are written to help you begin the year with Him. Whatever the next 365 days bring, may they remind you that your tomorrows are held in God’s hands, and that He will give you the hope and strength you need, one day at a time.

A shared invitation

Our Daily Bread Ministries wants to accompany you into the year ahead with God’s Word close at hand. We make resources like He Hears Us freely available so that anyone can find biblical encouragement for whatever the next season brings. If you would like to help someone else receive that same kind of support, your donation helps us continue creating and sharing free Bible-based resources.
