Is death the end?

Most of us can postpone thinking about death for quite a long time, but we can't postpone death itself. The Bible talks about what lies beyond it, and that claim rests upon an event in history: the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Is Death the End? examines why the resurrection matters so much to us as Christians. Drawing on 1 Corinthians 15, it looks at the testimony surrounding Jesus’ return to life, the transformation of His earliest followers and Paul’s insistence that our faith collapses if Christ was not raised. 

This booklet follows the implications. If Jesus has defeated death, those who belong to Him can expect resurrection too. Christian hope is that we will have renewed life with God, the transformation of our mortal bodies and the final defeat of sin and death.
